Spare keys are the cheapest insurance in motoring. If you have one key, get a second cut before you need it.

How much does a replacement car key cost?

It depends entirely on the make. A basic transponder key is a fraction of the price of a proximity remote for a late European car. Tell us the make, model and year and we will give you a price before we order anything.

Can you make a key if I have lost all of them?

For most vehicles yes. It takes longer than copying an existing key because the car has to be coded from scratch, and some makes need dealer codes. We will tell you which case you are in.

Do I need to bring the car to you?

For programming, the car needs to be with the key, so either bring it in or we can come to you. For cutting a spare from an existing key, the key on its own is often enough.

Is it cheaper than the dealer?

Usually, and often a lot. But we will tell you if the dealer is the right call for your particular vehicle.
